Hourglass Series
In 1963, Teresa Kruszewska designed a small chair for a children's hospital in Kraków: two mirrored curves meeting at a narrow waist, light enough for a child to move alone. It was made in almost no quantity.
In the Hourglass Chair, Krystian Kowalski brings her idea to the adult table — the same composition of repeating plywood elements, with proportions and comfort tuned for a grown body. One silhouette, three seats: moulded plywood, natural cane or upholstery.
